After getting kidnapped yet again by time aliens, during the holidays, I’ve decided to aim myself at a challenge to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now. I will be posting on this blog at least once a week for all of 2011. Since I have two standard themes I post about—Music Monday and Friday Fallout—I shouldn’t have run into issues…but those aliens can be a needy bunch.
I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.
If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.

I posted every day for 30 days once. it almost killed me! But now I feel like a loser if I go a few days without posting something!
I know Melissa! I feel so “out of it” when life gets in the way of my writing. I saw the post every day in 2011 challenge, but stayed honest with myself. To do that, I’d have to build up a discipline where I carve out significant time to write posts in advance, and then just publish them. Only way I’d be able to stay on top of a schedule like that.
ah, the aliens.. Sounds like a perfectly good explanation to me.. Good luck with your goal!
