This is another tough one.  I can immediately think of some favorite groups, but these are not bands per se to me.  Tight harmonies and some slick dance moves does not make a band.  I define a band as folks playing instruments and writing songs.

In reviewing my music collection, I don’t think I have a favorite band.  There are bands that I like–Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, Earth, Wind and Fire, R.E.M.–but I don’t view any as an absolute favorite.  I could cheat and go with Prince and the Revolution.  No, I think I’ll just pull a fave song from a band.
