Welcome to my first weekly mash-up. Hope some of these resonate for you as they have for me.

Social Media Magic
Have you been feeling the pressure to join Google +? Are you freaking out over having to adopt yet another social media platform? Then slow down, breathe and read what Kristen Lamb, author of “We Are Not Alone–The Writer’s Guide to Social Media,” has to say in G+ Circles – Good Idea for Writers or High School Revisited?
As a newbie to Twitter, Julie Isaac’s The Top 10 Tips (+2) for Making the Most of #FollowFriday on Twitter helped both explain the purpose of #FF to me and give best practices.
Fun Finds
I am a semi-reformed reality TV addict. I say semi-reformed because while I’ll watch most new offerings at least once, I won’t return–except for the performance shows. The latest show I fell in love with was The Voice, which celebrated talented singers for their singing versus pimped backstories and drama. Here is the recent performance of “Time After Time” by winner Javier Colon while on the show’s tour. I love the pure emotion in his voice.
Thank you for the link! And I hadn’t seen some of those other posts, so thank you for pointing them out. 🙂
You are welcome Jami. I’m glad I found your blog. I liked The Green Lantern movie review as well.
Great mash-up. Very informative. I really needed the #FF info. Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by Kate. Yes, the #FF information makes me less afraid to tweet some.
Barbara,
This is awesome! Thanks for the great mash up. I really had no idea what one looked like and yours is perfect. Yay!
Now I know what #FF means.
Ahhhh. : )
tameri…
Thanks Tameri! Yes, I was nervous about doing a mash-up, but it was fun to take time to read more great blogs. There is so much good stuff out there.
Wow, Barbara! Thanks for including me in your first mash-up. That’s special.
I had not seen all these posts so I’m just gonna get link happy for the next 20 mins. 🙂
My pleasure Jenny! I’m also a fan of your ROW80 updates.
Hey Barbara,
So what does that mean that you only return for the performance shows? (Obviously I don’t watch reality television!)
Bridgette
Hi Bridgette! I’ll get you hooked on some reality TV soon enough! I can’t stay away from the shows with some performing element like American Idol, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Got Talent. Whoa…that’s a lot of shows. :-0 I’ve let go of keeping up with some others such as Big Brother and Survivor.
